Dr. Autry Parker 

Dr. Parker is a board certified, fellowship trained anesthesiologist, specializing in the treatment of severe and chronic pain. Dr. Parker has over 15 years of experience diagnosing and providing effective treatment for patients in the Midsouth.  Dr. Parker graduated from Yale School of Medicine where he also obtained a Masters in Public Health.  His interest in pain management began while in medical school where his graduation thesis provided some of the basic protocols for PCA that is currently in use today.  After medical school he completed his residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  He became the first Blaustein Pain Fellow and trained under the direction of neurosurgeons, psychiatrists and anesthesiologists.  This unique opportunity provided Dr. Parker with the ability to synthesize the best approaches of each specialty and be able to emphasis which approach was most appropriate in each individual patient.
